Had a really great stay for the 3rd time, everything was good. The breakfast was outstanding with lots of excellent options. Liked the warm room, and the lovely view over the garden.

Everything was very clean, even so we stayed for 1 night only. The room was fairly quiet with well thought out decor and had an electric kettle, central heating and an iron. Its location was central, 500 metres from York Castle Museum. The hotel was an excellant home base for enjoying a very nice area.

It was an incredible stay & location was top. The double room had all we needed, including luxury bathroom. Staff was quick to help and the service was excellent! The hotel was adjacent to beach, so it was awesome.

The staff was cool and the room was silent with fine beds. Brilliant location within walking distance of botanic gardens. The beach restaurant had fresh food and exemplary service. The snack bar in the hotel had plenty of savoury cocktails and tea throughout the day.

It was attractive and competitive value for money among other available hotels in York. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay; the location and views were GOOD. We found an electronic key card, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels and a seating area in the executive double room.
